Ansel Adams wilderness area is located in the Eastern Sierra on the eastern edge of Yosemite National Park. Adams' family scattered Ansel's ashes in this location after his death. When I hike in Ansel Adams it is like a visit to the masters home. Spectacular Sierra peaks and beautiful mountain lakes make this one of my favorite hiking destinations.
