Half Moon Island offered a wide variety of photo opportunities. The most memorable aspect of the island was the angular light playing off the snow white mountains in the distance. The lichen on the rocks was interesting, and I got my first macro opportunity in Antarctica. The macro shot below combines a penguin egg shell and feather set against the green tundra of the island.
