Kings Canyon while not as popular as its cousing Yosemite to the north, provides beautiful mountain scenery and a wealth of hiking trails in a less crowed envirnment than Yosemite. The sequoia groves are awe inspiring, and the views of the Eastern Sierra Nevada make the effort of hiking in this steep terrain worth the effort.
