Lassen Volcanic National Park is my favorite national park in California. The park is home to a active volcano, and the endless maze of hiking trails provides excellent opportunities to view the volcano, its steam vents, and hot springs. Camp sites are easy to obtain, and the trail to the summit is worth the effort.
