Morongo Canyon is a Nature Conservancy presereve near Palm Springs, California. This unique oasis is caused by all year round springs which turn the desert into a unique refuge for birds and other wildlife. The hiking trails follow a board walk through the wetland. If you decide to hike into the remote canyon, be sure to keep your eye out for mountains lions.
