Mount Rose Wilderness Area is on the northwest corner of Lake Tahoe in Nevada. The beginning of the trail into the park offers spectacular vistas of Lake Tahoe. As the trail continues, it snakes through steep canyons with ponds and running streams. The wildflowers in the spring are especially beautiful.
