Salt Point located on the Sonoma County coast is legendary for its abalone diving. This beautiful coastal state park holds a special place in my heart because the park was my first photographic study, and the location of great abalone diving trips with friends. The spring wildflowers that carpet the grass lands that make up the park are especially stunning in March and April. I never tire of hiking this small but spectacular park.
