Snow Mountain is located in the Mendocino National Forest north of San Francisco. Snow Mountain is one of my favorite hiking locations, because this little know wilderness is never crowded. At seven thousand feet the hike to the summit is a challenge, but the views are wonderful. Wildflowers in the spring are an added treat.
